A modular sampler wrap that's over-the-top in color and texture - as
much fun to make as it is to wear. Choose a worsted weight,
self-striping yarn like Kureyon or Silk Garden (Noro), a harmonizing
solid, and a few beads (optional) and you're ready to create a
one-of-a-kind masterpiece. In one size.
Yarn:
Main color: 1,000 yds worsted weight, self-striping yarn
Contrast color: 250 yds worsted weight solid
Great Yarn Company recommends Noro Silk Garden for
the main color and Cascade 220 Wool for the contrast color.
Needles: Straight needles, 2 circular needles (at least 24"),
2 double-point needles US size 8 (5.0mm) , and one double-point
or straight needle US size 6 (4.0mm) or 2 sizes smaller than main
needle used.
Other: Stitch holders, tapestry needle, 28 beads with a large
enough bore for knitting (optional), crochet hook small enough to fit
through beads
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
