These adorable booties were adapted from a Swedish pattern that designer Karen Alfke's mother used when her kids were tiny. A ribbed cuff and twisted cord tie slipped through a row of eyelets help keep these booties on even during a good kick!

Knit these cuties in your choice of sock/fingering weight, DK weight, or worsted weight yarn.

Note: These booties are not intended for toddlers, as they have a bottom seam and lack no-skid soles.
