A flowing sequence of leaf and flower motifs symbolic of the regal Scotch thistle are combined in this beautiful lace stole.
The lace motifs transition from taller to shorter, just as the taller thistle leaf stalks at the base of the plant transition into dainty flower heads at the tips.
Stole is knitted in two pieces, then joined at the middle with a nearly invisible seam that does not require grafting.
