You can easily wind neat center-pull yarn balls that sit flat with this hand-operated yarn ball winder from Lacis. It winds perfect yarn balls up to 4 ounces, without tubes or cones.
Very simple to use -- the winder clamps securely onto the edge of a table, and in no time, you'll be producing tidy "cakes" of yarn.
Built-in 1.5" table clamp attaches the winder to a table or ledge, covered gear box prevents jamming, and the wire yarn guide feeds the yarn smoothly to prevent tangling.
